The Wisdom Series is hundreds of little nuggets of phrases/musings and I have added through the years. I focus on one and carry it with me throughout my day.
Words shift the trajectory of our lives, a degree to the left or right. Steps taken in the direction of our dreams, purpose, meaning, or lived experiences. Affirmations, mantras, questions, poetry, pieces, gratitude, intentions, or musings whisper on a deeper level and serve a need. They strike a chord, jotted down in a hurry, re-emerge as thought. Recite them in a time of anchoring or floating in rough waves. Take in measured doses.
ENERGY, PRIORITY & DIRECTION
Just do the most important thing in the morning. Don’t let your thoughts stop you from showing up.
Prioritize your energy and attention in the short time we’re here. We’re all in this together.
Whatever energy you spend, be in the direction towards your ultimate goal.
Your schedule is created by your biggest goal. Operating at your highest level of contribution requires that you deliberately tune in to what’s important here and now. High level of clarity of purpose allows for success. Communicate right info, to right people, at the right time. Good decision making = speed + quality.
When you’re burnt out with little or no energy, focus on you, everyone else is secondary. It’s selfish AND healthy to put your oxygen mask on first. It’s how you deeply heal, gain energy, be of service to others, and develop your ability to care.
BEING, STILLNESS & NON-PERFORMANCE
Asserting yourself requires being over doing. Let go your need to act. Just be.
Don’t perform for others. Be here and now. Feel how it feels to be in your body and mind. You control your reality.
Get to a place where nothing phases you anymore. Take a step back and observe from a place of openness and stillness.
Be open — not rigid—to opportunity to grow and develop resilience in the face of challenges.
BODY AWARENESS & SOMATIC LISTENING
Pay attention to what your body is telling you. Come back to what’s important. If you don’t know how, learn what works best for you. How do you become so still and quiet that you can hear your cells moving? Are they pulsating with love or fear? Listen.
What signals are you giving to your cells? Are we healthy and doing okay? Do we feel safe in this moment?
EMOTIONAL ACCEPTANCE & HUMAN EXPERIENCE
To feel it all! There is no living without experiencing the highs and the lows. My practice is to observe and understand this. Not be swept a sea by either one. Live in the space between. Not to define one as good and the other as bad. Live within all of it in peace.
When you’re not at peace with how you’re feeling, remember this is all a part of the human experience. There is anything wrong with you. There isn’t anything you need to fix. You don’t need to get out of this state of being. Simply be. And that’s more than good enough. There isn’t anything more that you need to accomplish. Everything else is literally icing on top. When you feel you have nothing left to give, it’s okay to just be. To do what you need/want to do and to not do anything at all. Give your mind, body, soul, and emotions the space and time to simply be.
If you don’t laugh, you cry. Laugh not only at yourself, but at the lightness and humility that’s present in every situation.
AUTONOMY, AGENCY & SELF-TRUST
Listen to yourself. Don’t allow others to dictate your life. When you don’t choose your words, decisions, or life trajectory, someone else will.
You are free to choose the feeling of the moment. You are changing. Marvel at the wonder of you.
For many things that will happen in life: It’s not your fault and it’s not personal.
AWARENESS, MINDFULNESS & INNER INQUIRY
Fear, trauma, insecurity, and negative internal formations require deep love, patience, time, and reputation. They lay dormant as seeds. Time and intention serve as fertilizer. A sense of mindfulness and awareness is born.

Thinking of you & sending love.
Simply reflecting allows me to realign my focus of where my energy is coming from and going. A mindful practice is lifelong & developing from moment to moment. It’s amazing how much I grow or deep insight I gain just by being open to the present and having a gentle awareness of all the stuff going on within. There’s an infinite sea of wisdom & joy and I’m simply floating in the waves.
